R&R provided survey and civil engineering services for this state-of-the-art library located in historic downtown Brighton. Special design considerations were undertaken as it was the first carbon-negative library in the U.S. featuring a geothermal heating and cooling system, roof-mounted solar array, and is Certified LEED Gold. This sustainable facility includes a children’s area, computer labs and workshop studios.
