R&R provided civil engineering services for The Junkyard, an outdoor music venue operated by Live Nation in Denver, Colorado. Originally a salvage yard, the property has hosted live concerts since 2022 and is now undergoing the City approval process to support more frequent events and establish the venue as a permanent entertainment destination. The proposed improvements focus on updating existing infrastructure, improving site access, and meeting City requirements while considering the surrounding community.
R&R initially provided surveys and prepared the concept site plan, which included proposed driveway improvements, as well as new fencing and gate locations to support the venue’s early days. Since then our team has been engaged with ownership, design team, and the City in developing a draft Transportation Engineering Plan (TEP) to further to venue’s continued operation. R&R is dedicated to ensuring quality infrastructure for the venue to the betterment of the City, operator, and users.
